    This may be another telegraphed barrage that does no damage. Iran has to let its proxies know it’s not just going to stand by while they get wiped out. But they’re no dummies; they know if they engage Israel in a hot war, (1) they’ll lose; and (2) they may enable the re-election of Donald Trump.

    In any case, the USS Eisenhower flight deck is probably busy right now. It’s a very dangerous time for all involved. God’s speed, good hunting, and fuck Bibi.

    Here we go again.

    It was actually a mildly heartwarming incident last time around. Seeing the whole region collaborate to defend Israel against the Iranian attack inspired some hope that maybe things weren’t quite so bad over there and that broad support for resisting Iran’s axis of influence in the region was achievable.

    It’ll be interesting to see how it turns out this time around. British and American defensive support can of course be counted on, but I wonder if Israel’s actions in liquidating Hamas, Hezbollah, and PFLP members will have soured their neighbours on resisting Iran.

    Regardless, fingers crossed that their attack fails.
