Speaking for myself ofcourse but I am glad the EU has regulations for the use of personal data for targeting consumers, voters and for example patients.
You might translate this as “censorship” but I think of it as “responsible use”.
Over the past years (and certainly in the case of Xitter) it has become blatantly clear that people like Musk wipe their #ss with responsibility.
Not to pretend I know it all, but have actively been using Linux on desktops and normal laptops for years now and I do have to agree.
Those old Macs are actually quite hard to get working right (fans, touchpad etc).
It is not impossible, but it takes quite an investment.
But Macs aside, nowadays a lot of desktops ánd laptops install flawlessly though.
Although I can understand the feeling, let’s hope that it does not get there. It might end ugly for all… 🤔
I’m in the process of switching to firefox on all my devices.
I’ve had enough of Google pushing features like this.
Although using the top row of keys does not cause you to accidentally hit keys above it.
