The same could be said of Trump debating a seasoned Junior High Debate Club member.

You’re on to something. He must get some kind of satisfaction out of proving that he really doesn’t have any scruples or integrity. I’m sure it’s a bonus that he knows it’s very difficult for anyone to force him to stop what he’s doing. He’s “owning the libs” by just being out and out corrupt and a crappy person without even trying to maintain appearances. It’s fucking weird.
My favorite part about modern republicans is that they made me look back fondly on former republican leaders who I used to despise. “Ahhhhh… binders of women. Those were the days.”
In fairness, it’s Wired who called them creatives, while Adobe called them artists.
Influencers are paid product shills. Most have no scruples or real positions. They produce whatever content will attract followers so that they can maximize their sponsorship dollars. These aren’t serious opinions anyone should pay much mind to.
She, in particular, does seem to be earning more rebuke from her Republican peers of late. Some of them have recognized that the antics on display by Greene and her ilk are beginning to wear on constituents more and more by the day, and are attempting to distance themselves in acts of self preservation.
While I hope that it doesn’t work and that these folks also lose their voice and seat, it does seem to bode well that at least a minor course correction is happening in the GOP, if not far too late. I’m not completely optimistic, though, because the constituency hasn’t suddenly become less divided - we’ve just seemingly found the bounds of the caricature the right wing of this country is comfortable with being publicly represented by.
And yet people are considering withholding votes for, or voting against Biden. As a Jew who believes in Israel’s right to exist, I guess I now hate Israel and my Judaism. It’s okay. Self loathing is something most stereotypes declare we’re comfortable with at this point.
Gets downvoted for decrying bad people and wishing for peace. Damn.
This article is basically summed up: “VPNs don’t completely eliminate your digital footprint, so don’t use them unless you need to accomplish these specific things.”
It seems pretty disingenuous to discourage people from taking steps to protect their privacy in this way. It may not be sponsored, but it’s still bullshit.
And guns.
“Awkward spinning selector wheel”
Say what you want, but the iPod click wheel was anything but awkward. It was the most approachable and efficient interface and hardware on the market by miles and miles. Navigating other similar devices without it is an awful experience of buttons and layered menus that feel clunky and slow.
I won’t deny that the Arcos and other jukeboxes were incredible devices, but they lacked accessibility and mass appeal. Their size and expense kept most people from even considering getting one. They were absolutely an enthusiast’s device and nothing more.
The iPod ushered in the boom of portable media players and paved the road for Apple’s performance in the mobile phone space by establishing them as purveyors of a superior form factor and experience when it came to those devices. Apple owes its continued success in its personal computer and tablet product lines to the iPod’s design and their decision to focus on creating a cohesive ecosystem across their products based on those design principles.
Axis? Really? That’s the word? 🤦🏻♂️
I mean…. Really? Toyota kind of kicked off the whole EV shebang by introducing the first commercially successful hybrid in the Prius. And they’ve been innovating in the space ever since. Don’t mistake this for me believing they have a solid state battery right around the corner. But Japanese auto companies aren’t known for being on the forefront. They’re known for doing what everyone else does with better reliability and lower costs.
He has very specific dietary needs. His mommy said so.
I’d settle for him doing an R. Budd Dwyer impersonation.
Reading between the lines a little, the littlest dictator is saying:
Don’t use healthy Floridians as Guinea pigs for these vaccines.
Only get it if you’re over 65
Covid hospitalizations in FL are skyrocketing. Desantis knows the vaccines are effective, which is why he’s not precluding elderly VOTERS from seeking it in his guidance. He doesn’t care if young people, who even in his hellscape of a state aren’t a guaranteed supporter, get sick and / or die from this virus. He’s hoping that he can buoy those who are almost entirely in his voting bloc while “proving a point” in his dumbass culture war.
The Democrats, a broken clock like most political parties, happen to be landing on one of their twice daily “right” slots?
