The story goes that upon arrival, the president said to the surgeons, ‘I just hope you’re Republicans.’ A doctor is said to have replied: ‘Today, Mr. President, we’re all Republicans.’

American politics has sunk so low into the cesspit of political despair, there will be a rare few who can’t bring themselves to say this. Rather than muster up the humour of Reagan, or the humanity of the doctors, they won’t hesitate to keep pouring petrol onto a nation already ablaze. Those takes won’t be received very well. If there is anything left tying America’s national fabric together, it’s that such instances of violence can’t be tolerated.

    Fuck you. MAGA is inherently anti Republic and anti American. Get fucked.

    Political violence is bad. That’s the reason Americans are still calling for justice against the MAGA mob and it’s leaders in Congress, SCOTUS, and White House at the time to be arrested, charged, and removed from our communities to protect this nation.

    You’re enemies of us all, even if political violence is now become the norm under your auspices.

    If it were 1934 and someone attempted to assassinate Hitler, I wouldn’t say “today we’re all Nazi’s”, I’d continue about my day not caring about the piece of shit…

    Trump deserves the same amount of empathy he shows the “others” he vilifies. Zero.

    This just further screams to me this was staged in some way. Everything thing I’ve seen since the event, keeps saying that Trump getting elected is now for sure. Why?

    A Trump win in November has never seemed more likely. … But this moment – symbolised by a bleeding Trump, standing with his fist in the air – is going to have more of an impact on voters than any debate or attack line ever could.

    I do not understand why this would impact anything.

      It guarantees some subsection of the dumbfucks in this country who otherwise would have stayed home will now vote as a virtue signal. That is all it takes to sway the election really.
